My Makeup Favorites Series Pt 2: Lips!

Probably my favorite beauty product that I can’t stop hoarding are lip products. It doesn’t matter how many variations of nude/ browns I have, I will always swatch them in the store, and end up coming home with a new lippie.

I actually have two favorites for you this week!

One is by a Filipino brand called SUNNIES FACE, and they specialize in nude shades for Asian skin tones. I absolutely LOVE the Fluffmate formula- it’s what they call their matte lipstick. It glides on with amazing pigment payoff, and it’s not too drying after several hours of wear like matte lipsticks can sometimes be. I love that it doesn’t settle into the creases and lines of the lips, which is something I find with liquid mattes or dryer formulas. Currently, the Fluffmate line has 25 shades, with 5 exclusive to China.

My second favorite lip product currently is the LAWLESS Forget the Filler Lip Plumper. I have a light/medium skin tone with warm undertones, and I love the shades Cherry Vanilla & George. I’m not so much a fan of “plumping” products. Personally, I don’t really care for them. What really drew me to love this gloss is how smoothing it is. It kind of blurs the lines of your lips, making them look like a Bratz doll in the best way possible. Adding a slightly deeper lip liner before the gloss seriously elevates the look from glossy to voluminous.

As far as pigment payoff: they are meant to be more on the sheer side of things, but I have seen the pigments pop on a wide variation of skin tones, from light to deep.
